Globallogic is looking for Java Developer in Kiev office
Required Skills:
3+ years in Java development
Tunable and scalable server software in UNIX (Solaris, Linux)
Various Internet communication and messaging protocols
Expert command of Java, OOD*OOP principles, preferably in a distributed systems environment
Unit test frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG, as well as debugging and profiling tools
Desire and ability to be on the engineering escalation team when operations group has production escalations (Tier 3 support)
Good command of spoken and written English
Desirable:
Background with TIBCO, JMS, Hibernate, Spring, JBoss
RDBMS
2-3 years of C#
What to do:
Work with other members of the Service Engineering group to support and enhance existing server software as well as create new server components
Write functional specifications and unit*stress tests for all code
Participate in code reviews
Work closely with Project Management, QASystem Operations groups during each release lifecycle
Design new capabilities or re-design existing ones as needed
